Hello,
You have reached the site for thriller writer Simon Pert.
January 2022 News:
I am very pleased to announce that one of my short stories had been included in a wonderful new anthology.
HELLHOUNDS, TALES FROM THE BARK SIDE
HELLHOUNDS, THE ANTHOLOGY has dogs of all shapes and sizes, from all realms and incarnations, bearing all manner of blessings and curses.
We have loyal, loving, languid dogs alongside sly, scheming, and sanguine dogs.
There are bloodhounds, terriers, and poodles who between them span heaven, hell, and all the spaces between.
Track Sherlock Hound across the Yorkshire Moors.
Watch Ralphie Boy do battle in Iwo Jima
Then wade the tides of the churning Akkeron with Badger.
The stories in HELLHOUNDS, THE ANTHOLOGY plumb the depths of despair, soar to giddying heights, and spin tales that will have you gripping the leash tighter and tighter while you urge our heroes and villains on.
Produced by Kate Pickford and JA Clement, confirmed authors include: Lawrence M. Schoen, Stephen Higgs, Lasaronia McMaster, Michael Raymond, Audra Spicer, Ella J. Smyth, Stephanie Mylchreest, Anne Marie Scott, Jon Evans, Elaine Bateman, and many more!
What’s it all for? To save Erada's home. You can read about her struggle in the GoFundMe link, below. Her 16-year old grandsons launched that appeal; the HELLHOUNDS, like the HELLCATS before them, are just doing our bit to help them help her.
And now it's your turn.
You can help by buying a copy of the Hellhounds Anthology.
The book is now available here:
Or you can donate directly, here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/grandma039s-final-chance/
I plan to add further content to this site in the comings days...keep checking back.
Best wishes
Si

I always find these kinds of things hard to write, which is funny for a writer. but here goes.
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. Never without a notepad and pen, or more likely nowadays, speaking or save notes into my phone. I have self-published four books over the years, a collection of short stories as well as three crime thrillers featuring my protagonist, Harry Stone.
An avid reading I never leave the house without a book and can often been seen walking about with said book in hand.
I live in Wiltshire with my wonderful family who keep me sane throughout the creative ups and downs. For my day job, I work in IT for a law firm which keeps me pretty busy.
My favourite authors are (in no particular order:
Stephen King
Agatha Christie
James Herbert
James Oswald
L J Ross
Peter May
Rachel Amphlett
Peter Robinson
Lee Child
and the list goes on...but you get the idea...if you haven't ready any of the authors above go and check them out, you will not be disappointed.
